- Vancouver Cello Club—Founded by Ian Hampton in 1969, the Vancouver Cello Club promotes interest in the cello repertoire and brings together professional, amateur, and student cellists through workshops, master classes, and recitals.

- Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School of Music—Located next to the Orpheum Theatre in downtown Vancouver, the VSO School of Music offers individual lessons on orchestral and other instruments, innovative classes for early childhood learning, courses and master classes for youth and adults, and Royal Conservatory of Music and college preparation courses. Instructors include visiting artists as well as members of the VSO.
- West Coast Symphony Orchestra—Led by Bujjar LLapaj and a number of guest conductors, this community orchestra includes high-calibre musicians from all walks of life. It performs in the Lower Mainland and in outlying areas such as Bowen Island, Whistler, and Vancouver Island.
- West Coast Amateur Musicians’ Society—WCAMS is a nonprofit organization of instrumentalists, singers, and music lovers from BC and beyond. The only organization in western Canada offering educational music holidays for amateur musicians and their families, WCAMS provides top-level instruction, fellowship, and recreation for members and free summer concerts for the public.
- West Vancouver Community Arts Council—From its headquarters in the charming waterfront Silk Purse Arts Centre, the West Coast Community Arts Council supports artistic and other cultural activities for residents of the North Shore.
- West Vancouver Youth Band—Providing excellent music education for nine- to nineteen-year-olds, the West Vancouver Youth Band has four bands under the baton of Doug Macauley and two string ensembles under the direction of Nicholas Urquhart.
