About the Ambleside Orchestra

The Ambleside Orchestra ia a growing, multigenerational community orchestra In North Vancouver that attracts musicians of all ages—from fourteen to ninety-something—and from all walks of life.

We present up to eight concerts a year, performing both classical and modern music in a variety of mainstage and community venues throughout Greater Vancouver.

Under the baton of Maestro Bujar Llapaj, the orchestra is growing and maturing into a high-quality ensemble that performs advanced repertoire.

We’re always looking for intermediate to advanced string players. We also keep a roster of qualified wind and percussion players.

We are pleased to offer a scholarships and awards program to reward the commitment and dedication of our young members.

The Ambleside Orchestra is incorporated under British Columbia’s Society Act. We are grateful for your support and pleased to provide tax receipts for donations.
